Golden Section created a new nice curve: spiral Harriss

Mathematician Edmund Harris discovered a delightful fractal curve that no one has ever drawn before.

Golden Rectangle rectangle whose sides are proportional according to the golden ratio, which is 1.618. In other words, the longest side is 1,618 times the size of the short side.

"It's not hard to do something that no one has seen," he said. "It's harder to do something mathematically gratifying that people have not seen before."

There’s a lot of myths about the golden rule. One of then is that the Parthenon was designed and built according to it. Or that the human body has the PHI as the proportion between some of its parts.

As a mathematician, I was all ready to be dismayed by or dismissive of the article, as with almost all popular discussion of mathematics (and particularly so with the reams of nonsense which have been written in the past about "the golden ratio"), but I was pleasantly surprised to find it reasonably well written and interesting.

Very nice. I'd like to see this taken a few more recursive levels down to see a bit more what the limit looks like. The ones above are artificially truncated well above the resolution limit available.
