Scientists grow hair with stem cells

A group of American scientists developed a method transformation of human stem cells into the type of cell that is capable of initiating the growth of hair. When these cells were transplanted into mice lacking hair, they successfully induced growth of human hair, suggesting that further development of this method may lead to cell-based treatment for people suffering from hair loss.

In the study, researchers began by turning these human embryonic stem cells into neural crest cells, which are the type of cells that appear at an early stage of development, and that turned into cells of the nervous system, the pigment -containing cells and components of the skeletal system, among other things. Then they are converted into the cells of the dermal papilla cells that are known to regulate the formation of the hair follicle and the cycle of growth.

How about balding women? It's more common than people realize and rarely considered sexy, like some people find balding men.

The first person/company to perfect and monetize this will make infinite $. It would be bigger than ED, bigger than anything else you can imagine.

I'm surprised this haven't been done yet. There will always be a need unless people don't care about their looks anymore.
